Day-1
On the first day of your trip, you will arrive in Kathmandu where our representative will be waiting for you at the airport. They will take you to the hotel where you will have a detailed discussion about the trip. This will be your free day, and there are no planned activities except for the meeting.
Day-2
Day-2 will be a cultural exploration day in Kathmandu. We will take you on a full-day sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley where you will visit historic and cultural sites. During the tour, as we drive through different parts of the city, you will learn about life in the capital. The tour is a perfect mix of culture, history, and spirituality, making it an exceptional city touring experience.
The sites we will visit today include:
Swoyambhunath - This ancient Buddhist stupa is the oldest site in Kathmandu and is a significant spiritual site in the valley. You can enjoy the view of the valley and the mountains from the top, and the presence of monkeys around the site makes it popular as the "monkey temple."
Patan Durbar Square - This medieval royal palace square is the royal palace of the medieval kingdom of Patan. The square is home to medieval art and craftworks, pagoda architecture, and an excellent hub to appreciate the skills of artisans. The surrounding locality of the square gives an excellent insight into the local lifestyle and culture.
Boudhanath - The biggest Buddhist monument of its kind, Bouddhanath is the most important Tibetan Buddhist pilgrimage site in the country and one of the UNESCO's heritage sites. The giant shrine in the middle of the square provides a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.
Pashupatinath - This Hindu temple area offers a unique opportunity to witness Hindu death rituals and cremation in an open platform on the bank of the river Bagmati. Visiting this site gives an insight into the culture and traditions of the Hindu faith system, which contrasts significantly with other systems around the world.
Day-3 : Travel to Pokhara (850 m.)
Today, our entire team will depart for Pokhara. After breakfast, you will check out from the hotel and hop on a vehicle to travel towards Pokhara, which is located 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu. The six-hour drive on the Nepali highway will take us through numerous towns, offering stunning views of natural surroundings and river valleys.
Upon arrival at Pokhara, you will be greeted by breathtaking views of the mountains, especially on a clear day. You will have ample leisure time to explore the serene lakeside and the town.
Day-4 - Trek to Pitam Deurali (1950 m.) 3 hrs
Today, get ready to embark on your trekking adventure. Before commencing the trek, there will be a one-hour drive. The trek begins from Kande and proceeds towards Pitam Deurali via Australian Camp. Our team of support crew will prepare your backpacks to carry. You will start walking towards the destination with the guide. The trek today will provide an exquisite experience of a nature walk with views of the Annapurna range, especially on a clear day. We will reach Pitam Deurali to spend the night in a peaceful environment.
Day-5 - Trek to Forest Camp (2600 m.) 6 hrs
This day will be filled with a splendid nature walk through a lush forest. We will trek to Forest Camp through rhododendron forest, accompanied by the sounds of birds, wind, and crickets. If the day is clear, we can also relish the sight of mountains from a vantage point. For most of the trek, we will be surrounded by deep forest, relishing the beauty of nature. Forest Camp has a few teahouses for a peaceful overnight stay.
Day-6: - Trek to Badal danda (3280 m.) 6 hrs
We will spend about five hours trekking uphill through the forest and grassy pastures to reach Badal Danda, situated at an elevation of 3280 meters above sea level. On a clear day, the destination offers a spectacular view of the Annapurna range of the Himalayas. Once we reach the lodge, we will have ample leisure time to enjoy the astounding 360° views.
Day-7: - Trek High Camp (3680 m.) 3 hrs
Today is the highest overnight point of the trek. It would take around 3 Hrs. After arriving in High camp, you would get Lunch and if the weather is good, trek around and enjoy Annapurna Mountains Views.
Day-8: – Trek Base Camp (4120 m.) and back to Low Camp (3050 m.) 7 hrs
We will start our day with an early morning hike towards the Mardi Himal Base Camp. We will start the day before the break of dawn and hike through the steep uphill and narrow trail. It will take us about two hours to reach the viewpoint for the wonderful sunrise over the Annapurna range. It is spectacular to see the sun rising from behind the Mt. Fishtail ridge and smearing the hues over the mountains. We will hike further to Base Camp and enjoy the moments there. We will hike back to High Camp. The round trip from High Camp is of about five hours. We will trek down to Low Camp to stay overnight today.
Day-9: – Trek to Pokhara 6 hrs
The first part of the day today takes on a trek down to Sidding where we bring our trekking journey to the end. It is about three hours of steep downhill walk-through lush forest to Sidding where we will get a jeep ride to Pokhara. About two hours of off-road drive will take us to Pokhara for a relaxing evening.
Day-10: - Rest Day in Pokhara
A Relax day in Pokhara without any Program.
Day-11: - Pokhara – Lumbini
After a relaxed breakfast the drive continues to Lumbini, where Buddha was born and raised. Lumbini is in the lowlands at the border to India.
Day-12: - Lumbini Sightseeing and Surroundings
We will visit the Mayadevi Temple, Tilaurakot (Buddha's birthplace), the Ashokan column, and other interesting sites such as monasteries and stupas.
Day-13: - Drive to Chitawan National Park
We will leave early in the morning by tourist bus to Chitawan National Park. In the afternoon, we will take part in some activities such as a canoe ride to an elephant-breeding center. Later, we will drive with an oxcart through Tharu-Villages back to the hotel.
Day-14: - Explore Chitawan National Park
The day will start with a jungle tour on the back of an elephant. With a little luck, you will see some rhinoceroses, tigers, antelopes, crocodiles, anteaters, and other small animals. You will also be able to see an extraordinary species-rich bird population. In the evening, there will be a local cultural program.
Day-15:- Drive to Kathmandu
We will depart around 10 AM by bus to Kathmandu.
Day-16: - Relaxation Day in Kathmandu
A leisurely day in Kathmandu without any planned activities.
Day-17: - Departure from Kathmandu
